Body Painting Pics of the Day

I'm going to do random entries from now on with body painting pics that I have done. Since this is my blog, they will be uncensored. I assure you, though, that I will not be publishing anything that is smutty. I want to retain my level of trust with the girls I work with, and the future clients I might have.

Working and more working

I have been pretty busy lately, trying to get a few sculptures finished, and some paintings started. I just got commissioned for a pretty big piece, although the client doesn't quite know what he wants the subject to be :) Love you, Gus!

I'll try and update you more on what's going on with me, and what I have coming up. But, no promises that it will be daily. I get side tracked and then it's time to go to bed! I'm old. That's my new excuse.

Zombie Heads!!

Working on a new series of Zombie heads that will be finished in plaster and painted for realism. This series was inspired by Bossons heads. I am also taking custom orders, so if you'd like to be Zombified, let me know!

Working Working!

I haven't updated my blog in a while, as I have been  very busy with the sculpting and cleaning of waxes. I will have lots of sculpture work to show and sell soon, but here is an example of what I have been working on.
I'm still taking commissions, so if there's something that you would like to have made, please let me know!

Loving Austin

The move to this area has been a fabulous choice. The people in this area are all wonderful (and if they're not, it's cause they ain't Texan!). My kid is doing great in school, and my work has been non-stop. I've been fortunate to find 2 master sculptors to take me under their wings and show me some tricks. I can't wait to see where my work quality is at in a year.

Meanwhile, I painted this chair at my place. It was an older navy blue leather chair. Nice and classy by it's own standard, but I saw a canvas waiting for me, and thought I would give it a go. I'm considering selling this piece, but unfortunately, due to the weight, the sale would have to be local pick up only.

Wax chasing for Bronzes

I've been a working artist for about 30 years. I thought I was pretty good at what I do. Well, I just landed a client that sculpts and has a foundry of his own. WOW, I have to step up my game now. I think I won't be online much any more. I've got some serious practice to do. I need to learn to hone my ability way beyond what it was before. I am so impressed with the work that I've been given to chase. I wish I had learned some of my craft from him and his wife years ago.

Well, for those of you that know me, you know that I am up for a challenge! I'm going to be the best wax chaser Texas has ever seen. :)
